Responsible Investment in 60 Minutes

Over the course of one hour, learners will be introduced to the key concepts in responsible investment and the materiality of ESG issues within investment decision making. Learners will build their ESG fluency and gain an understanding of the essential terms and concepts necessary for meaningful discussions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

By the end of the course, users will be able to:

• Define responsible investment and distinguish it from closely related concepts.
• Explain the business case for responsible investment and the materiality of ESG issues.
• Build ESG fluency by defining key ESG-related concepts, using them accurately and consistently.
• Identify key ESG issues that materially affect an investment case.
• Communicate scenario-specific ESG considerations with colleagues, clients and stakeholders, demonstrating a clear understanding of the topic.
